In light of recent events...

I did something very rash and part of me regrets doing it.

I felt my integrity as a person was being attacked by someone I loved, and in a very spur-of-the-moment moment, I fired off an angry email.

I have probably damaged whatever hope there was for rekindling this friendship by doing it. At the same time, this person made me feel as if years of laughter, friendship and sharing could be boiled down to a few moments of selfishness.

I am human after all, folks. I do stupid things and I am capable of being insensitive, but at the same time, I don't think it's fair to point the finger and, at the same time, not take a step back and look at yourself.

We all get wrapped up in our lives, and at that moment, we are only capable of giving out what we have. Sometimes, it's not enough. It does not define us as people--- at least it shouldn't.
