Ever see that movie from the nineties, "The Prophecy"? In it, Christopher Walken plays the Archangel Gabriel. In his contempt for the human race, he tells a recently animated dead guy that human beings are really nothing more than talking monkeys.

He ain't lyin. The proof?

George W. Bush.

Think about it...I mean REALLY think about it...

One shining example of his apparent simian tendencies?

Well, plenty of us anti-war folk seem to see the mire that is now the occupation of Iraq as Bush the Younger settling old scores with Saddam Hussein (Gulf War, anyone???). "Yew hurt my Poppy and now yer gonna pay! Fool me once...won't get fooled again! Imma send my soldiers to get yew!"

Ahem.

Well, in my humble opinion, this is a bit similar to the way monkeys like to play in their own feces and throw it around, banging their chests, proclaiming, "I am King Monkey! ME!!! Look at ME!"

All Dubya wants to do is fling his shit around-- the shit HE made and doesn't want to clean up. Instead, he leaves it for his handlers and other lowlings in grunt uniforms to deal with.

Hence-- talking monkey.
