Glasgow is a town that's an intriguing mixture of ancient and modern.
So many gorgeous old buildings...graveyards...churches...

The weather's been great here, despite the fact that everyone predicted gloom and bone chilling dampness.
It's been truly lovely.
Tomorrow, we'll be on our way to the Isle of Maillaig, and after that, the Isle of Eigg.

It's much better than London here, I must say, which was a bit like being in NYC (we were right in the middle of Picadilly--- the English equivalent of Times Square).

I am astounded by the warmth, kindness and general friendliness of the Scots that I've met. I don't know if I expected to be as warmly embraced as I was, but I am quite grateful for it.

Hmm...

In any case, my internet session is running out and I'm having LOTS of difficulty with this Euro-keyboard, so with that, I'll end this.

I do have much to say (and will definitely say it at some point), but for now I must bid thee fare thee well.
