Fundraiser information

When: August 21, 2004 5-10pm

What: "beat bush=vote kerry" fundraiser
--
Where: Grand Press Bar, 284 Grand St, Williamsburg, Brooklyn
--
Why: We all know that we need to beat Bush. And the only way to do that is to make your vote count by voting for Kerry. Now while it is still important to vote in New York, we are throwing a party to raise money for ACT, an organization focused on raising voter awareness and getting out the vote in the crucial swing states (for more information about ACT go to http://www.act04.org).

What to expect: Food donated by area restaurants, drinks (it is a bar after all...also Brooklyn Brewery has kindly donated a few extra kegs for the cause), doorprizes donated by area establishments, and we will also be raffling off an i-pod.
