Hamas founder Sheik Ahmed Yassin, assassinated in an Israeli air strike, was once referred to as "A Head of a Snake".

Being a pacifist, there is no way that I can see this man as a sympathetic character.

Unfortunately, this tit-for-tat behavior exhibited by both Israel and the Palestinian opposition only serves to create more animosity. Bloodshed is more likely to ensue because of this action.

My politics aside, I do believe that by cutting off this "head of a snake", another one will grow in its stead.

This action will only serve to fuel more terrorist attacks instead of preventing them, which was supposed to be the intention.

Peace cannot and will not be achieved if neither side will stop the bloodshed.
